5 Ways How Emerging Technologies Influence the iPhone App Development Industry

Monday, 29 July 2019 by

The Apple magic is ubiquitous and its loyalists are individuals with deep pockets. Somebody who has once perceived the iPhone experience would never give it up for any other brand unless, of course, if one lacks the ability. This has very simple and straightforward implication for the iPhone application development sphere-offer exemplary experience to the users. iPhone app developers are, therefore, in the constant quest for conceiving and incorporating more innovation to their app development repertoire that enhances the consumer engagement across personal and professional disciplines.

The only constant in the technology world is change. Trends emerge, impact and depart in no time. Those who align themselves with this ephemeral tide lead on to fortune, those who do not are bound to lose their ventures. Certain emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and AI, Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Big Data have been great disruption in the technology sphere. Due to their magnanimity or simplicity, or both, they can have a positive impact in making outstanding apps and boost the customer outreach for iPhone app developing enterprises. Let us take a closer look at these disrupting technologies, the harbingers of innovation.

1. If Artificial Intelligence isn’t there, neither is your app

The phrase ‘technology of the future’ is synonymous with Artificial Intelligence. Such has been the impact of AI since it can make machines learn and do work with minimum human intervention. AI allows your iPhone app streamline internal workflows and external systems for your business. This will not only be facilitated with high-speed and precision, but also with the potential for further scalability.

2. IoT is a thing that matters

The Internet of the things technology can be incorporated into apps for all the types of industry verticals. It helps to integrate data and monitor control on several kinds of devices on its basis. This gives the businesses capability to monitor and control its operations and customer-reach from the mobile devices.

3. Enterprise apps for linking business processes and Big Data

Enterprises must offer the users a seamless experience across the organization. Gone are the days of individual level apps, companies have now realized the importance of application development focused on creating Mobile apps that increases productivity and provides a streamlined and cohesive view of data and processes.

4. Cloud has an extensive reach, so must your app

Apps that are cloud enabled and integrated allow lightweight systems with powerful capabilities. Powered by Cloud, iOS apps can have smaller size with larger storage capacity. When data can be accessed from anywhere in the world while being managed centrally in the cloud servers, apps can have a global consistency.

5. Augmented Reality has become more real than reality

If we talk about delivering engagement to the end users, augmented reality has immense potential. The success of Pokemon Go in 2016 is a proof of this fact iOS when incorporates AR can do wonders for businesses.

Conclusion

Although conclusive, this list is not exhaustive. The digital world is so dynamic that trends keep coming up. iPhone has a formidable name in the market and is usually the choice of upscale consumers. Naturally, iPhone apps must be appealing and engaging to their loyal users. In a transitioning market, enterprise mobility therefore must always align itself with the latest trends in the market.

Why Should You Invest in Android Apps?

Saturday, 27 July 2019 by

To be honest, a mobile application is an icing on the cake for the user experience, while calls and text messages are the foremost functions of a mobile device. Nevertheless, an app can become the topmost priority for a person, if it is engaging enough. A mobile application can create brand loyalty and help you from falling behind in the competitive market. As a matter of fact, the users want their favorite brands and companies to develop their own mobile applications for a customized user experience. The Mobile application development in India has become a serious business as there is a growing urge to develop and design mobile applications.

A mobile application is the best marketing and communication tool for any business/company in an inexpensive way. Keeping in mind, the importance of mobile application and its usability, you can either choose Android or iOS. Before you develop your app, it is advisable to do a market research on the Android and iPhone app development companies in town to find the right developer for you. All most every entrepreneur might come across this question: Android or iOS? Both the platforms have its own pros and cons. Based on your requirements, choose the right platform for your app.

The green robotic human is known for its lucrative features, affordability and smartphone fragmentation. Unlike Apple, Android has a wide range of devices which makes it the topmost priority in app development. Wait! This isn’t the only reason to choose Android. There are more advantages in developing an Android app. Here’s why:

Android dominates the Indian smartphone market

According to a recent survey, the Android operating system has captured 97 percent of the Indian smartphone market. Currently, India stands as the world’s third largest smartphone market after China and the USA.

Android is only the market which can offer high-quality features at an affordable price for an extensive range of mobile devices. To put it simply, any average Indian consumer can buy an Android smartphone within his/her preferred budget. Due to the market segmentation and affordability, Android still continues to dominate the Indian smartphone market share.

Android offers low barriers to entry

The iOS app development companies must require a Mac desktop to develop the iOS apps. On the other hand, Android app development can be done on a Windows, Linux or Mac. Moreover, Google charges a one-time payment of $25 to register as a developer while Apple charges $99 annually. For an Android app development, all you need is a system and a fee of $25 to start your development process.

Android apps are developed using JAVA

Java is proven to be the most powerful programming language and used for developing a wide range of devices. It is an open source which provides free source code from its Java Development Kit (JDK) to the developers and the added advantage is that it can run on any system regardless of the hardware and software dependency. This powerful programming language is used for developing the native Android apps.

As Android apps are written using the Java programming language, it can be easily ported to other platforms like Symbian, Blackberry, Ubuntu and Chrome OS.

Android is great at customization

Are you tired of the same old widgets? Chill! Download a widget from a third party app and replace it with your stock one. Bored of the same layout? You can download and replace it too. Android allows you to customize your app the way you like it – that’s the foremost reason why developers love developing apps on Android than any other platforms.

Android provides the perfect platform

In the fast-growing app market, the ability to adapt quickly does matter a lot. Android’s Google Play Store allows you to update the app within an hour, in response to the user’s feedback while the App Store follows the same lengthy process to submit your app. You can submit the same app for multiple times on the Play Store while you’ll need at least a week to launch your updated app on the App Store.

Beside the multiple uploads, it also offers Alpha and Beta releases which can be accessed by a set of members to test your app. Based on the feedbacks from the testers, you can rectify the errors and/or incorporate some features before it reaches the actual users. Thus, Android provides the perfect platform to test your app.

Android is profitable

Yes! You heard it right. The general assumption is that the iPhone users are rich to make in-app purchases, and thereby it generates more revenue than Android. But this isn’t true anymore. Android developers can generate revenue through initial app purchases, in-app purchases and from the most profitable way-app ads.

According to a survey by DAU-UP, the average revenue per user for Android games was just 20% by January 2010. Surprisingly, it has reached to 65% by the year end. Moreover, the advertising cost are 20-50% lower on Android apps, which can eventually be more profitable than the iPhone apps.

Now that you are aware of the benefits of investing in the Android app, you can develop your app on this most promising platform to stay ahead in this competitive market. Due to its usability and affordability, Android still remains unbeatable and continues to rule the smartphone market. Remember, developing an Android app isn’t an expense. It’s an investment!

Mobile App Development Trends to Look Out For

Wednesday, 24 July 2019 by

In the recent years, the mobile app industry has seen some breakneck innovations and is under a radical makeover. Advanced technologies such as Beacon technology to attract attention to a specific location, Internet of things (IOT) to collect and exchange data, Big Data, Cloud computing has been in the news.

In today's life mobile apps playing an important role in simplifying the daily tasks. We have mobile applications for all the things today. It is proven that most of the mobile users spend their time on apps surfing.

Here are some mobile app development trends to look out for innovative mobile apps to survive in the competitive market.

• High-level mobile app security

Basic security measures are the prime focus. No one likes when user personal or financial information becomes available to the hacker. Here, Apple IOS and Google Android consider security as an important factor. So, developers have to endeavor that their apps run successfully with meeting all security protocols.

• Location-based apps with Beacon technology

Apple's beacon technology has set a buzz in the app industry. Beacon technology makes apps attract attention to a specific location. If you are an iOS user try this out, this will provide a set of services and suggestions based on your geographic location. It is all about providing the right information to the user's right.

• Wearable Apps

Now everyone's attention moved to wearable technology. It takes app industry to the next level. Developers have to start building wearable apps. This technology explored from health care, fitness to fashion, textile and more. Smart wears, Apple watch, Google glass, Samsung gear is the great example of wearable technology.

• Internet of Things (IOT)

Various enterprises have also started to integrate IOT. It will help the development of apps with the advanced feature, new standards, and their own security and privacy concerns. Such as smart cars will be able to connect systems like a traffic signal. The signal's sensor, in turn, will give traffic directions, current weather conditions, send accident alerts and provide alternate route options to the driver.

• Enterprise apps

Both in the app store and play store, among a total number of apps enterprise apps have gained more transaction. Enterprise mobile apps are certainly much costlier than consumer mobile apps. Enterprise level apps are provided with utmost security features, such as username / password, encryption / decryption and MDM software to protect the confidential data from leakage. Research shows that enterprises that provide solutions are going to gain employee satisfaction and friendly work-face.

• Quality content and marketing plan

Unfortunately, Developers are primarily focusing on the technical thing and ignore content. Developers have to focus on content also.

• User experience

A million of apps are present in the app store and play store. You may find many apps which are similar to your app; you have to face the competition and struggle to stand out. To make your app successful app has to fulfill customer satisfaction. User experience and response is important to understand app performance. The developer can study user behavior using analytic.

Keep yourself updated with latest market trends and technologies

MacBook Pro Review

Sunday, 28 April 2019 by

First impressions

The previous MacBook Pros were very good indeed. They delivered consistently professionally quality and great features. Reviewing next generation MacBook Pros is there before something of a treat.

An initial glance at the latest models shows nothing new. This is not disappointing: the sturdy casings and the smart design are exactly what you want from a superior laptop. The keyboard appears tidier – the result of some minor changes – but apart from that, everything looks as impressive as it always has.

This might suggest that any internal changes are also minor. Not so. When you fire up the MacBook Pros and start putting each model through its faces, you soon realize that you're working with machines that excel expectations.

Technology

To begin with, the processors are Intel 45 nanometer Penryns. These are noticeably faster than the 65 nanometer Meroms installed in the older MacBook Pros, and easily beat the Meroms in all benchmark tests.

The standard processors for the two 15-inch MacBook Pros are 2.4GHz and 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duos. The 17 inch has the 2.5GHz. Allied to these are enhanced hard drives of 200GB for the 15 inch 2.4GHz, and 250GB for the 15 inch and 17 inch 2.5 GHz.

Of particular interest to the multimedia user is the doubling of the video memory on all three MacBook Pros. The 15 inch 2.4GHz has a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB, and the 15 inch 2.5GHz and 17 inch 2.5GHz have the same graphics processor but with 512MB.

2GB of RAM supports the above technology across the range. The overall results are laptops that cope easily with advanced graphics and audio applications.

Hardware Each of the three MacBook Pros comes with standard hardware, such as:

  • slot-loading 8x double-layer SuperDrive
  • iSight camera
  • AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth® wireless connections
  • stereo speakers
  • FireWire 400 and 800 ports
  • USB 2.0 ports (two on the 15 inch models; three on the 17 inch)
  • DVI port
  • Audio ports
  • Gigabit Ethernet port
  • ExpressCard / 34 slot

There are also hardware "extras" that help the MacBook Pro stand out from the crowd. These include a powerful lithium-polymer battery; an ambient light sensor that illuminates the keyboard in dark conditions; and an energy-saving LED backlit screen.

These screens are mercury-free and anti-glare, and have resolutions of 1,440 x 900 pixels for the 15 inch models and 1,680 x 1,050 pixels for the 17 inch. With both you have bright, natural and pin sharp images.

Perhaps the best hardware extra of all, though, is the new MacBook Pro trackpad. This now has the multi-touch functions that have proved so popular on the iPhone. By pinching, swiping, and rotating your fingers on the trackpad, you have remarkably fast and positive control over the features of the MacBook Pro's creative software.

Multi-touch does give rise to a slight problem: the size of the trackpad may feel a little small for someone learning the appropriate gestures. That said, once you're familiar with multi-touch, it's not difficult to work within the trackpad's boundaries.

Software

As with all new Macs, the MacBook Pro comes with the best operating system around, the Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard. If you've never used Leopard before, its profitability will delight you. If you're already a Mac user, you still have something to please you because the new MacBook Pros boost the speed of Leopard and the applications that run off it.

Among these applications is Apple's latest version of the world's fastest browser, Safari. This comes with the usual batch of updated Apple software such as Boot Camp, Mail, iChat, iTunes, DVD Player, iPhoto and iLife '08.

Performance

Experienced MacBook Pro users can load their preferred applications on these latest models and immediately notice the improvements in speed. For example, you can set up Photoshop CS3 in approximately eight seconds on the 15 inch 2.5GHz. You'll then go on to discover Photoshop runs 20 – 25% faster than a 2007 2.6 GHz MacBook Pro.

Compared to a 2006 MacBook Pro, the differences are even greater. Overall, you can experience speed increases of around 50% across a range of applications. This is good news for all those who want maximum performance from a laptop.

Options

With any laptops designed for professional use, it's always worth looking at the manufacturer's options because some people will need a buffer zone of extra speed and power for specific applications.

The configuration options of the MacBook Pro are unlikely to let you down. To give you extra power, you can request a 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor upgrade for either the 2.5 GHz 15 inch or 17 inch models. As for RAM, you can upgrade any of the three MacBook Pros to 4GB.

On the 17 inch MacBook Pro, you might want to increase the hard drive to 300GB to provide additional room for space-stealing graphics applications. Similarly, you can ensure the perfect clarity of your images by asking for a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel screen for the same model.

Finally, if you prefer a glossy rather than anti-glare matt screen, you can request this when you place your order.

Value

With all these upgrades packed into the same shells as the previous MacBook Pro models, you might expect a rise in prices. If you do, you'd be wrong. The new MacBook Pros are unquestionably better machines but the prices across the range have not changed. The old MacBook Pros were good value, but the latest incarnations are simply excellent for the price.

Conclusion

Want the best laptops from a great manufacturer? Look no further.

Pros

  • Speedier than the previous generation of MacBook Pros
  • Double the video memory
  • Smooth, multi-touch features on the trackpad
  • Improved battery life
  • Excellent configuration options
  • More for your money: no price increase compared to the older MacBook Pro equivalents

Cons

  • Trackpad may be a little small for novice users

Thursday, 25 April 2019 by

Basic top 10 lists can do a lot to market your business online, simply because they have ideas your market seeks. When you share the top ideas, especially when you’re part of the list, you show up on searches for other parts of the list. You’re ON the list, therefore they find you too.

When I started building my business there was a guy who did nothing but write Top 10 Lists of anything he could think of. His lists directed people to his favorite top ten of whatever he wrote about, and usually those were specifically things he was interested in. I may never forget my favorite of his lists. He had one that was called Top 10 Hotdog Stands in Denver. I remember driving home one afternoon from a meeting, hungry, tired, frustrated because the meeting didn’t go particularly well, and there it was hanging over the sidewalk, a sign that said, “Custer’s Hot Dogs”. I’d never been to the place, but I love hot dogs, so I had read the article. I remembered that Custer’s was number 3 on his list, so I pulled in and parked.

That was the best Hot Dog I remember ever having. I went back to my computer, looked up his website, and started looking for the other Hot Dog Stands he recommended. WOW! Those were some amazing Hot Dogs. And, I’ve been back to several of those hot dog stands since, even though his website has been totally gone for nearly five years. If I’m in the neighborhood, I still stop at those Hot Dog Stands. That’s good marketing!

If you’re looking for a great way to market your business, I’m telling you, “Top 10 Best Lists” are the WAY to go.

Ten Top 10 Best Lists You Could Write to Market Your Business

Beginner’s Guide to Buying a Desktop Computer

Sunday, 03 March 2019 by

People certainly aren’t camping outside stores in the rain to get the latest and greatest desktop computer these days, but PCs are far from dead. Simply put, there are certain functions that mobile devices and laptops either can’t do or can’t do nearly as well as a desktop.

Not to mention, there’s no beating the price. A budget desktop is going to be miles ahead of a budget laptop. It’s expensive to make things small. The small size is what appeals to some people when choosing a new computer, but these days big honking towers aren’t your only choice.

Styles of desktop computers

There’s a lot more variation and choice in the desktop form factor, which is great in some ways, but also makes the buying process that much more complicated. You can find computers in each of these categories at a variety of price points, so the most important thing to keep in mind is how you plan to use your desktop.

Tower

The classic desktop form factor, towers have stuck around for good reason. It’s hard to fit a lot of power into smaller devices like a laptop or tablet for a reasonable price. The power to price ratio of tower computers is pretty much unbeatable.

There’s also a lot more flexibility with a tower. There’s more room to upgrade and expand the system when newer technology comes out, whereas with smaller devices you may just have to buy a whole new system.

Towers do, however, take up quite a bit of space and if space is at a premium in your home, a tower could be out of the question. They also require a separate monitor, keyboard, and mouse. There are some cases where those accessories are included, or you can get a discount if you buy them at the same time as the computer, but plan for buying those when you’re making up your budget.

All-in-One

All-in-one computers offer a simple and space-saving set up. These are, in essence, a cross between a desktop and a laptop. They feature a large monitor with all the necessary components built into the back or base.

The small design gives you a lot more flexibility with placement and keeps your work area clutter free. Plus, because everything is all in one, set up usually just involves plugging it in. You do still need a separate keyboard and mouse however.

Because these computers are smaller, they aren’t as powerful as a tower and you can’t customize and expand them (although this also makes them much simpler). There’s also the issue that if the monitor breaks, you need a whole new computer.

Mini and Stick PCs

These computers use mobile components to keep them small (like all-in-ones). As such, they’re not very powerful, but they’re extremely portable. Mini PCs are small enough to be hidden behind a monitor or TV set up and stick PCs are slightly larger than a thumb drive. Because of the small size, they’re not very powerful and internal expansion is limited to impossible.

While you won’t be able to do any advanced gaming or multimedia editing, they work great for day-to-day tasks, browsing the Internet, and watching media. Set up is extremely easy and they’re quite versatile in that you can use it as a home office during the day, and then plug it into a TV for a home theater at night.

The different operating systems

The question of which operating system (OS) to go with isn’t asked as often with desktops as it is with tablets and smartphones, but it’s still something to consider.

Windows 10

This is definitely the most common desktop OS so you’ll have a big selection of hardware as well as compatible third party software. It’s designed around a touchscreen interface, though it still works great with the classic mouse and keyboard, so if you don’t buy a touchscreen monitor you won’t have any problems.

macOS Sierra

If you’re in a family of Apple lovers, then Mac could be for you. Sierra is only found on Mac computers, so you’re limited in your hardware, but these are well-made computers that historically have fewer problems with viruses. A Mac will also pair seamlessly with your other Apple devices and programs.

Chrome OS

If you’re just looking for simple, no-frills computing the Chrome OS will be right up your ally. The OS runs custom apps and cloud-based programs as opposed to other operating systems that run software. It’s not suited for demanding tasks like gaming, but it’s great for email, file-sharing, and browsing. You will always need to be connected to the internet, but that’s usually not an issue with desktops.

Types of desktop computers

Not everyone is going to use a desktop for the same reasons, and how you use it will influence the type of computer you buy. After all, you don’t need a complex, high-powered machine just to check your email.

Business PCs

These PCs are stripped back, no-frills machines that don’t allow for advanced computing, but are easy to service and upgrade. They also usually offer extra security, software and hardware certification programs, software support, and some even have on-site tech support.

Workstations

These are specialized PCs that feature multicore processors and intense graphics. They’re perfect for scientific calculations, media creation, and other high-powered tasks that wouldn’t be even remotely possible on a laptop.

Gaming PCs

These are (as the name suggests) made for gaming. They feature specialized graphics cards, extremely fast multicore processors, and many have flashy design elements although those generally cost more. Upgradability is a must as newer and more immersive games are released.

Learn the lingo

There’s a lot of terminology you need to know before buying a PC so that you actually know what you’re buying. This list from PCWorld goes into further detail, but here’s a quick breakdown of the terms you should know and understand.

Processor (CPU)

This is the brain of your computer. Processor speed is measured in gigahertz (GHz) and generally, the higher the clock speed, the better the performance and the higher the price. The more cores a processor has the better the performance as well. Desktops either have an Intel or an AMD processor.

Memory

The random-access memory (RAM) determines how good your computer is at multitasking. The higher the RAM the better, especially for high-powered tasks like gaming. For simple tasks like email and web browsing 2GB is fine, but for anything more advanced than that, look for a computer with 4GB or more.

Internal Storage

The amount of storage your desktop has determines how much stuff you can keep on your computer. Desktops almost always have more storage than laptops and for a fraction of the cost. It’s also easy to upgrade your hard drive for more storage, or upgrade to a solid-state drive.

Wait for the best price, but don’t wait too long

Once you’ve figured out which computer you want (and have read plenty of reviews to ensure that it’s actually up to snuff), it’s time to buy. This can be tricky with a desktop because they can be pretty expensive and technology is always evolving.

While it can be tempting to just buy the computer when you’re ready, you might miss out on a great deal or the latest tech. Shop regularly for a stretch of time instead of spending an entire day looking around. You’re more likely to catch a deal that way. Also check the release dates of new models. You’ll most likely get a good deal on an older model, or you might just want the latest technology.

Waiting for a sale also means you can bump up your computers specs with the money you save, meaning your computer is a bit more “future-proof” than if you were to just go for the cheapest one you can find.

However, this is a balancing act. If you spend too much time waiting around for the perfect deal or the latest model, you’re never going to end up buying your desktop. So be patient and wait for sales, but once you find the model you want in an acceptable price range, go ahead and buy it.

Software Solutions

Have you ever found yourself in the situation where you need computer repair parts? Of course you have! After all this is the computer age and most of us have at least one computer or laptop in our homes. It is possible that somewhere along the way, your computer will begin acting up and you will think it is a virus, when in fact it might be a problem with software compatibility due to a recent upgrade. While there are many different software tools available via the Internet, there are times when using an onsite repair service is in your best interest. This is especially true if there is concern about losing valuable data or those family photographs that are irreplaceable.

Finding the Solutions Yourself

There are ways available for you to try fixing your computer problems yourself. However, make sure you don’t do more damage, because it can make your repair bill higher, when you end up calling for onsite computer repair. Experts certified in onsite computer repair services can install the computer repair parts you need and offer solutions to solve software problems and data protection concerns. Some experts will even recommend some informational books to help you that you will be able to find at Amazon books or possibly through an online e-book.

Hard Drive Backup Solutions

There are options for backing up your hard drive to protect your data. Onsite computer repair services can advise you on the best solutions for hard drive backup solutions, in the unfortunate event your hard drive is one of the computer repair parts that needs to be replaced. You can purchase mirror hard drives, but you have to make sure that you schedule regular backups and many times, your programs and data files might not be complete. Some repair services are able to recommend Internet-based providers, like Mozy for hard drive backup, for example.

Finding Your Own Parts

Some people are computer savvy enough to have the mechanical ability to replace some computer parts that are easy to access. Places like Tiger Direct sell new and refurbished computer products and parts and Dell offers replacement parts, as well. Just keep in mind this isn’t something that amateurs should attempt. Because you can lose valuable data and corrupt programs, as well as cause additional parts to be needed that might not have been needed to begin with. When you are certain that you have hardware problems and need computer repair parts, consider the experts that can fix your problem the most economically.

Adding More Memory

Most computer experts would recommend that you know the exact computer repair parts you need, when you want to add more memory, because you don’t want to damage your motherboard. Again, this something that you can undertake yourself, if you are knowledgeable in this area, and helpful tools are provided by Crucial Memory so you can find the correct memory for your motherboard. However, if you are unsure about this task, it is easy and affordable for onsite computer repair services to install additional memory with the correct computer repair parts. This might be worth the peace of mind and it is an affordable option.
